Madonna, The costumes of the "MDNA WORLD TOUR"
Madonna's World Tour is started in Tel Aviv.
The Material Girl, who’s in incredible shape, will be wearing a series of costumes created by some of the biggest designers on the international scene.
The Queen of Pop will perform in Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander Wang outfits, with accessories by Prada and Miu Miu.
The stylist Arianne Phillips will oversee the star’s looks.
Dolce & Gabbana have created the clothes for the band and vocalists, while Fausto Puglisi– a successful Italian talent – has produced the outfits for the dancers and J Brand has made jeans specifically for the tour. For a special performance of “Like a Virgin”, Madonna’s historic hit, the singer will wear a bra designed by Agent Provocateur.
Gaultier too has created for performance “Vogue” outfit that remember the famous corset of "Blonde Ambition Tour".
“We played with the ideas of a suit and a corset. But the corset is now like a cage,” said Gaultier. “I love Madonna,” the designer added. “She is the only woman I have asked to marry me.
She refused, of course. But when she asked me to do a costume for her for this tour, I couldn't refuse.”
