The Queen will celebrate her Diamond Jubilee this weekend with a host of royal activities destined to make even the least patriotic feel like buying bunting.
Although the fashion world has embraced the event in a number of stylish ways, from Louis Vuitton's royal-themed exhibition to Mulberry's Union Jack tribute bag, Her Majesty's official celebrations kick-start tomorrow as she attends the Epsom Derby.

On Sunday, the Queen will join the royal family - including the Duke and  Duchess of Cambridge  and  Prince Harry - for the Thames Pageant.
Regardless of the weather, 1,000 boats will travel down the River Thames decorated with flags, with the royal family forming the centrepiece on the Royal Barge

On Monday night, the country's biggest stars - from Shirley Bassey to  Elton John - will perform for the Queen at a concert held at Buckingham Palace. The event will be broadcast live on BBC One - and, with rumours that concert organiser Gary Barlow is set to join Prince Harry on stage, we'll definitely be watching. The evening will culminate in Her Majesty lighting the National Beacon, one of 4,000 being lit around the country.

The four-day extravaganza will finish on Tuesday, when the Queen will lead a procession through the streets of London, followed by an appearance on the royal balcony at Buckingham Palace.
