STORY ART BY TIM HEITZ
Tim Heitz is a story artist at PDI DreamWorks Animation in Redwood City, CA. His blog is full of lively characters, caricatures, worlds real and imagined --all rendered with a playful hand carefully attuned to the power of shape, color and design. Along with spot-on caricatures of celebrities, bands and superheroes, you'll find Tim's sketchbooks and his thoughtful musings on that great places to doodle and that Santa-looking dude in a red tracksuit on the subway. Heitz graduated from San Jose state with a degree in animation and illustration. His work is a lovely testament to the power of visual storytelling.
