Cannes Film Festival 2012

All eyes were on Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst at Cannes last night as they stepped out at the premiere of their new film, On The Road.


It was no surprise that Kristen wore Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière - she is the face of the fashion house's fragrance, after all - while Kirsten brought a flash of colour to the red carpet in a hot pink Christian Dior belted gown.

But it wasn't only about the girls - Sam Riley, Tom Sturridge and Garrett Hedlund joined their glamorous co-stars, while Robert Pattinson caused a flashbulb frenzy when he arrived to support his leading lady girlfriend.









The premiere of Brad Pitt's new film, Killing Them Softly, was the event to be seen at last night, despite the actor walking the red carpet without fiancée Angelina Jolie. Diane Kruger swept down the red carpet in one of the festival's prettiest looks to date - a romantic cutom-made Nina Ricci gown - while Karolina Kurkova and Irina Shayk competed for the evening's most glamorous look, both dressed in Roberto Cavalli.


Cannes party circuit is never quiet and last night saw both Chopard and the IWC Filmmakers throwing glamorous soirées. Anja Rubik, Kelly Brook and Caroline Sieber graced Chopard's glittering event, while Ewan McGregor and wife Eve, Bonnie Wright and Petra Nemcova sat down for the IWC dinner.



Cheryl Cole swept into the premiere of Amour wearing a Stéphane Rolland couture gown, with full ostrich feather train, while Salma Hayek graced the Madagascar 3 screening in a plunging Gucci Première dress.
Continuing her run of glamorous looks, Cannes juror Diane Kruger looked to Vivienne Westwood and Jason Wu for her weekend appearances.

Marion Cotillard was the belle of the ball at the Cannes Film Festival last night, sweeping down the red carpet for the premiere of her new film in a dramatic Christian Dior couture gown.
Also wearing couture, Freida Pinto chose an Atelier Versace neon green number for the evening premiere.
