The Disney Princesses seem to go for the more recently between cinema, the beauty and the fashion world, and never cease to delight. Maybe because we grew up with them, with them we dreamed and today still know how to make us laugh. For this reason that the graphic designer MavyDesign, inspired by the famous photographs taken by Anne Leibovitz, has reinterpreted digitally and context to the present day, giving them the appearance of some of the most famous women in the world.

So the likes of Bianca Balti, Coco Rocha, Rihanna and Angelina Jolie take on the role of Aurora, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Belle, but there are also Snow White and Ariel, all catapulted to New York from the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and Apple megastore on 5th Avenue, then still struggling with the botox and a shoe dream where there are the creations of Christian Louboutin.

Following its limited edition Diet Coke bottle designs by Jean Paul Gaultier, Diet Coke has unveiled exclusive ‘Night & Day’ cans designed by the French couturier — the first time in the beverage brand’s history that a design collaboration has been translated onto its 330ml cans.

The ‘Night’ can features Gaultier’s iconic corset and cone bra design; while the ‘Day’ can, Gaultier’s signature Breton blue-and-white stripes.

The cans will be Available across Europe at select retailers until September.

Making fantasy a reality, French footwear designer Christian Louboutin — famed for his iconic red soles — has created a real-life version of Cinderella’s glass slippers to celebrate the

re-release of the classic Disney film.

Louboutin’s reimagination of the fairytale’s famous glass slippers feature delicate crystal-adorned lace, with two sparkling butterflies resting on the shoes—“one landing on the vamp, while the other sits closely behind atop of the crystal covered heel,” gently stroking the ankle—and Louboutin’s trademark red soles.

Harrods is teaming up with Disney this Christmas to give the famous entertainment company's fairytale princesses a designer twist. Designers including Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Versace and Elie Saab will each create a dress inspired by an original Disney princess dress, and the finished creations will grace the iconic store's windows from November until after Christmas.

Ariel The Little Mermaid, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Jasmine from Aladdin, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White, and Tiana from the Princess and the Frog will all get a high-fashion overhaul from the designers - alongside a specially-built 7,000-square-foot area on the store's fourth floor, which will house a Disney princess pop-up boutique.

"Each year we strive to deliver a Christmas theme that will inspire and enthrall our customers," Mark Briggs, Harrods' store image director, said. When married couple and freelance designers Emma and Brandon Peat had their first child, they wanted a fun way to teach their newborn the alphabet.

By taking their favorite film franchise—Star Wars—they have recreated the entire alphabet list featuring characters from the original Star Wars trilogy—with each alphabet representing a different character.

Called ‘A is for Ackbar’, the entire list was a collaboration between the married couple—with Mr. Peat sketching the characters and Mrs. Peat in-charge of coloring.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have such ‘geeky’ parents?

Robert Pattinson, Sarah Gadon, Juliette Binoche, Emily Hampshire and Paul Giamatti joined director David Cronenberg and ‘Cosmopolis’ author Don DeLillo on the red carpet at Cannes.

Pattinson will replace Colin Farrell in the Canadian director's forthcoming adaptation of Don DeLillo's 2003 novel, which is set over the course of one day and played out for the main part in the back of a stretch limo as it winds its way through New York. The Twilight star will play 28-year-old asset manager Eric Packer, whose trip to get a haircut (during which he bets against the rise of the yen) is interrupted by a presidential visit to the city, a funeral procession for a Sufi rap star and a fully-fledged riot.

The match may not be as strange as it would appear, as Cronenberg has been moving towards more orthodox territory in recent years with the gangland thriller Eastern Promises and graphic novel adaptation A History of Violence. Pattinson has mostly featured in teen-oriented fare, but must surely be keen to prove his acting chops in more cerebral territory.

Farrell opted out of Cosmopolis to film Underworld director Len Wiseman's forthcoming remake of sci-fi romp Total Recall, but Cronenberg's project retains a strong cast including Paul Giamatti and Marion Cotillard. Cronenberg plans to begin shooting the film in Toronto in May, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
