HARRODS' Christmas windows will be taken over by a designer Disney Princess display this year - and we have a preview of the beautiful gowns set to go on show. Some of the biggest names in fashion have created their imaginings of the iconic fairy tale dresses, which will grace the iconic Knightsbridge store's windows next month.
See Oscar de la Renta's version of Snow White's dress; Valentino's take on Belle's ballgown; and Versace's tribute to Cinderella. It doesn't stop there - Marchesa has given Ariel a makeover and Elie Saab has recreated Sleeping Beauty's dress, while Rapunzel has been styled by Jenny Packham.

Harrods is teaming up with Disney this Christmas to give the famous entertainment company's fairytale princesses a designer twist. Designers including Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Versace and Elie Saab will each create a dress inspired by an original Disney princess dress, and the finished creations will grace the iconic store's windows from November until after Christmas.

Ariel The Little Mermaid, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Jasmine from Aladdin, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White, and Tiana from the Princess and the Frog will all get a high-fashion overhaul from the designers - alongside a specially-built 7,000-square-foot area on the store's fourth floor, which will house a Disney princess pop-up boutique.

"Each year we strive to deliver a Christmas theme that will inspire and enthrall our customers," Mark Briggs, Harrods' store image director, said. "Collaborating with Disney this year is an exciting prospect for the store, as it allows us to combine luxury and fashion with fantasy and nostalgia to execute a show-stopping Christmas."
