China: 'Piano Staircase' Lets You Make Music

To entice pedestrians to take the stairs instead of the escalator, Wulin Plaza in Hangzhou, China, has installed a staircase that not only resembles the piano, but also produces the melodic sounds of the musical instrument.

As users walk up and down the 54 steps, each step (a black or white piano key) of the staircase makes the sound of the relevant note when it is stepped on.
