Minnie dress Lanvin
Minnie and Daisy Duck on the catwalk? The Barneys proposes this new Christmas advertising campaign.
For the holiday season, the New York store has "modernized" the design of some of the most iconic characters of Disney house dressing for the occasion, the creations of some high-fashion house.
The campaign follows the success of Lady Gaga of 2011, with titled "Electric Holiday"- start on November 14.
A truly radical restyling in some cases because while Goofy, Mickey Mouse is that in all one of the few with the physique du rôle to get on the catwalk, has just suffered a slight touch-up "hairstyle", Daisy Duck and Minnie have become sylphs diaphanous and skinny for obvious purposes of the story, pace of loyal Disney.
The group — including chief executive officer Mark Lee, creative director Dennis Freedman and senior vice president Charlotte Blechman, as well as executives from communications and visual — toured Walt Disney’s apartment and went on rides like It’s a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain and Captain EO.
The short film centers around Minnie Mouse’s fantasy to be at the Paris shows. There she comes across key Disney characters — Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Cruella de Vil, Princess Tiana and Snow White — all decked out in unique designer clothes as they make their way down the runway.
The theme is a riff on Disney’s famous electrical parade, as well as the special lighting installations so central to the New York holiday season and the flashbulbs of fashion runways.
