Valentino: Master of Couture

This November will see London’s Somerset House open its doors on an exhibition focusing on Valentino and his couture work.
Entitled “Valentino: Master of Couture”, the exhibition will display iconic dresses collated from Valentino’s entire oeuvre, including Jackie Onassis’ wedding dress of 1968, the Valentino vintage worn by Julia Roberts to the Oscars in 2001, dresses worn by Grace Kelly, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sophia Loren will also appear.

Among the couture works will also be photos and other miscellaneous items collated from the designer’s archives, brought together to enhance the intimacy of this unique portrayal of the Italian designer’s life and work.
